Some paraphrasing and original verse. "The Day the Kidney Fried" plus Moose Stew while watching the RNC.

"When Lenin read a book on Marx,
Netanyahu played putt-putt in the dark."

"The Lion doing pocket pool with the Lamb,
pork jelly and sour melon rinds.
Do you remember what was the deal,
the day the kidney fried?"

Hope is a dull blade in the killing floor,

after we see the results of some,

and give it a dose of umph.

Don't whet, oh don't.

You couldn't do that,

to make more meet fate

on the sterile floor with the tiled walls.

Joshing good shew.

Trump's America pulling at its own "seems",
everyone to downcast to get caught up in dreams,
man, Joe,
you play on some hopes,
but don't you know,
you're representing three or four different contradictory agendas?

Obama had put his heart and his Eric Holder with the protestors;
the fire was started sometime then,
and him, "fire it up!", like catcalling, tempting fate,
and then the canker posterchild of all that strife:
Donald.

Least I get to see Nikki Haley on teevee again, and hoping it isn't just one of those convenient Fox News sweetheart deals, like they did with Sarah Palin.

"My husband is a fisherman.  Moose stew and cards on Thursday.  Watching the landscaper walk across the way as I sip coffee."

A signed rookie Mike Trout card went for $3.9M.  Previous record was the Honus Wagner for 3.1M.
